Anti-Muslim Propaganda

Since the start of December, there has been at least 30 Muslim related hate crimes. These crimes range from vandalism of mosques to cold-blooded murder. Even children have fallen victim to these crimes; cases of Muslim students being threatened and attacked are becoming more frequent. This is what happens when citizens are fear-mongered and pumped full of propaganda.

It's no secret that history repeats, and recent events are beginning to bear an uncanny resemblance to WWII.  Citizens are blaming ISIS attacks on the entire Muslim population; even political candidates (Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Rand Paul and Mike Huckabee) are pointing fingers, perpetuating Muslim myths and promising solutions to terrorism in an attempt to fear-monger citizens into voting for them. You have to remember that Islam is not the problem, ISIS is. ISIS doesn't represent the entire Muslim population, just like the WBC and the KKK don't represent Christianity. 

More and more people are falling victim to war propaganda everyday, endangering the lives of not only followers of the Islamic faith, but people who appear Middle Eastern. I am so tired of innocent people being blamed and injured because someone chose to believe in propaganda rather than taking 10 minutes to research and find the truth. Hating an entire group of people is so primitive and low; the human race has landed on the moon and yet we are still petty enough to do this. 

ISIS wants us to hate Muslims.  In fact, demonizing and isolating Muslims helps ISIS considerably. By falling for war propaganda, you are fueling a larger conspiracy (which will be discussed at a later date). 

We cannot allow the government to continue to manipulate us like this. It's time we stand up and fight back. During this time of crisis, we should be banding together, supporting one another. Do not give them the satisfaction of falling for their lies. Stick by our Muslim brothers and sisters. Do not give ISIS what they want.
